LONGSHOTS ALL-STAR INVITATIONAL

Brooklyn, NY – Earlier this month, LongShots coach Gene Ruda was extended an invitation to join the Nu Age Softball League. After careful consideration and contact with some of the players on the team, it was decided that we would in fact enter a team into the league for the remainder of the Spring / Summer 2007 season. The main goal of this team is to try to take the LongShots, who struggled this season in their first season in the Gowanus Heights League, and transform them into a division contender. Due to the fact that certain players couldn't commit to four games a week, the LongShots reunited themselves with some former players to round out the roster. If the transaction is successful, the LongShots may look to continue on in the Nu Age Sports Softball League.
